This section presents my sound design portfolio. Although almost all of the audio across other works is also designed by me, this area is fully dedicated to the Sound Design course, of the Master in D+M. All of the sounds in this section, from music to foley, were either recorded or artificially produced by myself. The main concept across all of them is childhood.
There are three main works. The first is an animation. It was sent to me with no sound, and I had to produce the music and other audio.
The following works are two poems in which I mixed and master the recitation together with either music or ambience sounds.
Lastly, there’s this work of mine where I tried to bring my old photos to live by producing a soundscape to each one. The camera shutter acts as moment freezer.
These projects were developed within the scope of the Sound Design course, part of the Master in Design and Multimedia at the University of Coimbra (Coimbra, Portugal), and under the guidance of Professor Amílcar Cardoso.
